About this course
Course Description
This course is an introduction of International Relations (IR) studies in the Faculty of Humanities, Bina Nusantara University. The course consists of fundamental courses needed to prepare the freshmen to enter their early semesters. The course would be divide into several sections that covers (1) the basic for researching, consist of how to searching references, reading, academic and non-academic writing, and finding credible references; (2) the basic for presentation; (3) the topics of International Relations and the position of Indonesia within international relations.
Learning Outcomes
On successful completion of this course, students will be able to:
- LO 1: Identify the basic skills and knowledge needed as IR students
- LO 2: Understand the importance of credible referencing in terms of searching and citing
- LO 3: Apply the basic skills and knowledge needed as IR students in research and presentation
