OTP098 - Fundamental Course for Psychology

About this course

This course is prepared to provide knowledge of Psychology in general, including what Psychology is, what topics will be learned in this department, how to conduct a psychological study, gather the data, and familiar with statistical tools such as JASP. Further, other courses related with the effectiveness of studying (e.g., making a mind maps, fast reading, etc.), working in a team, and adaptation skills will also be part of this course. In general, the aim of this course is to prepare the graduate students to study Psychology effectively and efficiently.

Learning Outcomes
On successful completion of this course, students will be able to:
• LO 1: Able to identify how to be successful with orientation and transition program.
• LO 2: Able to identify different types of research.
• LO 3: Able to describe and implement the basic knowledge of research method.
• LO 4: Able to describe and implement basic knowledge on statistics.
