Himpunanan Mahasiswa Teknik Informatika (HIMTI) of Bina Nusantara University is a Student Organization at Bina Nusantara University in the form of the Department of Student Association (HMJ) for students of the School of Computer Science (SOCS). This set is the idea of ​​Mr. Ir. Toto Widyanto, MSc. (Former Head of the Department of Informatics Engineering), to establish a forum for students majoring in Informatics Engineering (now part of the School of Computer Science) to make a real contribution to the development of IT in Indonesia as well as to train management skills in organizations. The first management was formed in 1992 and inaugurated by the SMPT Commission I on September 14, 1992, with the General Coordinator (Chairman) Mr. Yusuf Setiyono.

This organization has the following objectives: To unite Bina Nusantara University students majoring in Informatics Engineering, Mobile Application Technology (MAT), Game Application Technology (GAT), Cyber ​​Security and Dual Departments of Informatics Engineering in a single platform so that they can move forward together, help each other and build each other. Then at this time, HIMTI is in the process of integration (merger) with HIMTI from the Senayan, Malang, and Bandung regions. So that in the coming year, HIMTI will become an association that has 5 regions (Alam Sutera, Kemanggisan, Senayan, Bandung and Malang).

Becoming a renowned Student Association throughout Southeast Asia by 2025

Mission:

1.     Strengthen the member’s bonds with knowledge, experience, and values to form a solid family.

2.     Growing and developing professionalism towards members to face the world of tech industry, career, and global environment growth.

3.     Upholding nationalism and dedication to Indonesia
